Welcome to Woodland Mist Alpacas

Our farm is located in Mahoning County, Berlin Center, Ohio which is between Akron and Youngstown. When the early morning mist rolls off the fields and lakes surrounding our farm, Jeff and I are extremely grateful that we have these wonderful, majestic, spirited animals with their peaceful humming in the background.

We started several years ago with 1 pregnant import and a 9 month old female. We have carefully selected our foundation females and herdsires to bring quality fiber and genetics to our breeding program and continue to grow. We have now grown to 15 alpacas with 4 more on the way. Our primary goal at WMA is breeding for fiber fineness and quality with Peruvian/Accoyo genetics. Our foundation/herdsire bloodlines to name a few consist of Cordero, Camelot, Amadeus, Timoteo, Bravado, Caligula, Grand Master, Victor, Hemingway, Godfather and Vengador.

How fortunate we are to have these amazing animals. Turning fiber into rovings for hand spinning, skeins for crocheting and knitting, going to shows, watching the miracle of birth and knowing all your alpacas personalities is very rewarding.
