| 2009 National/World Fleece Show - Mature - 1st Place at six years of age.
Out of a possible 20 points for fineness and handle the judge gave Camo 17 points. This male is six years old and still maintains his fineness.
His offspring Coco received a 18 and Commando a 17 for fineness and handle out of a possible 20 points at Nationals.
Camo is solid medium brown with a hue of maroon and has black accents. He has high frequency crimp that the judges are now starting to look for that extends from his topknot down his neck and throughout. This male has tremendous presence and attitude but is very gentle as are all of his crias. This is an exceptional breeding fee promotion.
Camo's crias are winning ribbons in the show ring.

Out of a possible 20 in fineness/handle the fleece judge gave a 17
April 2009 - Indiana Invitational - 3rd
Commando is a striking young male with perfect conformation. He was placed in a mixed - combined class at Nationals due to the silver fibers running throughout his fleece. Being the youngest, his cria fleece weight was no match to the 1st place finish being a 22 month old. Commando just moved into the yearling class by a few days.
He exhibits the same traits as his sire and Grandsire 5Peruvian Camelot. Long staple length, tiny crimps per inch, soft handle. With silver running thru his med. brown/maroon fiber would make a great match breeding to either grey or black. |
